Case study · Website, AI & operations
Socialplan: one partner across the whole business.
Socialplan delivers social support on behalf of Danish municipalities. Brenvard built its new website, added an AI assistant and supports the company across technology, people, finance, legal matters and data protection.
The result
The new socialplan.dk.

The challenge
A growing provider with no systems.
Socialplan works with children, young people, families and adults, in close dialogue with municipal caseworkers. As the company grew, it needed a website that speaks clearly to both municipalities and families, and a way to handle documentation, data protection and administration without building an internal department for each.
Instead of hiring several separate suppliers, Socialplan chose to work with Brenvard as one partner across the areas that needed attention.
A clear website for municipalities, citizens and job seekers.
Safe handling of sensitive personal data.
Less admin for management and staff.
What we delivered
Six service areas, one partner.
Technology & Digital
A new socialplan.dk built in WordPress and Elementor, structured around services, a section for municipalities, a referral page and knowledge articles.
AI & Automation
Sofie, an AI assistant on the website that answers only from the site’s content, asks visitors not to share personal data and refers to emergency services if a message signals acute danger.
Legal Support
Data processing agreements with municipalities covering action plan data, based on each municipality’s own template or the Danish Data Protection Agency’s standard.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
GDPR set-up and security hardening of hosting and DNS, including two-factor authentication, key rotation and a clean-up of access.
People & Talent
Employee profiles and an allocation process that matches citizens with staff based on languages, driving licence and experience, built into Etape.
Finance & Accounting
An overview of invoicing and delivery against municipal agreements for management, built into Etape and kept separate from what municipalities can see.
Brenvard worked as an extension of Socialplan’s management: one point of contact, shared priorities and specialists brought in as each area needed them. The website, the AI assistant and the operational system were planned together so they support the same goals.
Agreed priorities across web, data protection and operations.
Launched the new website and the Sofie AI assistant.
Put data processing agreements and security routines in place.
Built staff allocation and management overviews into Etape.
Responsible AI
An AI assistant with clear limits.
Socialplan’s visitors include families and vulnerable citizens, so the assistant was given strict rules from the start. It is always presented as an AI, answers only from the website, and points people to the contact form, the referral page or emergency services when that is the right next step.
Asks visitors not to share personal information in the chat.
Refers to 112 and a crisis line if a message signals acute danger.
Never gives prices, case assessments or legal advice.

A new website, the Sofie AI assistant, data processing agreements with municipalities, security and GDPR work, and staff and finance overviews built into the Etape platform.

Does Socialplan also use Etape?
